板框過濾器濾袋濾布的選擇對過濾效果的好壞很重要，在壓濾機使用過程中，濾布起著關鍵的作用 0其性能的好壞、選型的正確與否直接影響著過濾效果。目前所使用的濾布中常見的 是合成纖維經紡織而成的濾布。根據其材質的不同可分為滌綸、維綸、丙綸、棉綸等幾種。為了達到截留效果和過濾速度都比較理想，在濾布的選擇上，還需要根據料漿的顆粒度、密度、化學成分和過濾的工藝條件來選擇。濾布過濾目數按所分離物料的顆粒直徑確定，一般在選擇濾布目數時應稍大于所要截留的顆粒直徑，在過濾的初階段有少量的小顆粒穿濾，當所截留的較大顆粒搭橋形成濾餅層后，就可以消除穿濾現象，有助于提高過濾效率。
